On February 25th, 2020 in Stara Zagora will be held a one-day Conference "New Housing Policy" - The need to change local policies for social housing and housing plots in the municipalities of Stara Zagora, Plovdiv and Maritsa.

The topics to be discussed are related to the housing situation in the municipalities of Stara Zagora, Plovdiv and Maritsa. The housing problems in the Lozenets neighborhood, Stara Zagora, will be also discussed. An overview of European and world practices in social housing policy will be provided. During the conference, attendees will have the opportunity to discuss ideas for a new housing policy in the three municipalities, as well as at the national level.

The conference is part of the activities under the project "Advocacy Campaign for Social Housing and Housing Plots in the Municipalities of Stara Zagora, Plovdiv and Maritsa."It is implemented by the Community Donation Fund - Stara Zagora in partnership with NGO "World Without Borders" and the "Institute for Urban Development", Plovdiv, with the financial support of Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway under the EEA Financial Mechanism.
