From October 1, 2019 the Community Donation Fund - Stara Zagora in partnership with the NGO "World without Borders" and the "Institute for Urban Development" begins the implementation of the project "Advocacy Campaign for Social Housing and Housing Plots in the Municipalities of Stara Zagora, Plovdiv and Maritsa."

The project is implemented with the financial support of 72,000 euros provided by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway under the EEA Financial Mechanism.

The main goal of the project is to achieve the reform of local policies for the construction of social housing and the provision of housing plots for individuals and families in dire need. The violation of human rights and the inhumane practice of eviction and overthrow should be replaced by a policy of providing opportunities and prospects. The result of the project will be a change in local policies aimed at those in need of decent housing in Stara Zagora, Plovdiv and Maritsa: people below the social minimum, Roma, single parents, parents of children with disabilities, large families, orphans, single, poor, deprived of parental care, homeless.
